Description

Conversion and refurbishment of a Grade II Listed Victorian office building to provide retail space at the ground and basement levels and five luxury apartments on the first to fifth floors.

 

Challenge

To achieve good sound insulation between the apartments and retail space.
 

Solution

The design solution included the construction of acoustically isolated ceilings and the installation of high quality sound mat under the hard floor finishes together with regupol isolation strips to partition heads.

 

Result

A successful project with no acoustic issues.
