Description 

This project entailed the complete strip out, enlargement and restoration of a 5 storey Georgian townhouse including renewal of all mechanical and electrical services.

​

Challenge

Time was the biggest challenge as the client wished to get the property on the rental market as quickly as possible. The vertical nature of the property also presented logistical challenges.
 

Solution

A detailed post tender discussion was held with the contractor to agree a practical logistics plan.

​

A small premium was agreed with the contractor in exchange for an agreement that completion would be achieved in a fixed period and the contractor was incentivised to complete early.

 

Result

A glorious restoration of a historic house which satisfied our clients quality demands and achieved his target programme.
