Description

A new build Arts facility for Queen Mary University of London. Designed by Wilkinson Eyre Architects the building incorporates a 60 seat film and drama studio and a timber-clad 300 seat auditorium.

 

Challenge

The original contractor went into administration and Academy managed a new procurement process through a full OJEU.
 

Solution

A new contractor was appointed competitively within 5 months of the original contractors demise.

 

Result

Commencement on site with minimal time loss to deliver a state of the art facility.
