Description

A two form entry primary school in a single storey with playground and sports facilities.

 

Challenge

The school had to be skilfully designed to meet a constrained budget.
 

Solution

Academy's quantity surveying team worked closely with the architect to value engineer the scheme to budget. 

 

Result

Tenders were returned on budget and the building was delivered to programme with the school winning an architectural award for 'Project of the Year' at the Kent Design & Development awards.
