Description 

The regeneration of the historic Ordnance Survey Headquarters site to build 63 houses and apartments including affordable housing and a Tesco Metro store.

Challenge

The affordable housing and Tesco unit had to be delivered to strict deadlines and the site had challenging ground conditions including underground obstructions. 
 

Solution

An economic and value engineered foundation solution was developed that could be constructed speedily.

 

Result

The scheme successfully delivered the affordable housing element and the Tesco retail unit to the contracted deadlines.
