Description

 This challenging project included the major improvement of a west end retail avenue and included the creation of new retail space and the renewal of avenue paving and the upgrade of services and the lighting scheme.

 

All shop fronts were repaired and re-decorated in this historic London location.

Challenge

The complexities of this project related to keeping food and retail stores trading and maintaining safe access for customers and pedestrians whilst major construction works proceeded.
 

Solution

Academy's team worked in close liaison with the retailers to ensure they were kept trading. We also agreed a detailed phasing plan to a tight programme with the contractor to ensure retailers were satisfied and customers kept safe.

Result

The beautiful restoration of a period London avenue which attracted more retailers at higher rents to the available space. The scheme was delivered to a challenging programme and within the client's budget.
