Description

25 new business units adjoining the historic Brooklands racetrack were created and a 30,000 square foot high bay warehouse was converted to form 3 warehouse units. All units incorporated office space.

 

Challenge

Working on this historic site brought challenges in the ground, an unknown gas main traversed the site and interfered with foundation design.
 

Solution

The team worked through a solution of reconfiguring foundation design without the loss of unit area or delay in the completion date.

 

Result

The scheme was delivered to time and budget and won the Industrial Agent Society Developer of the Year Award for small units.
